和上个周末一样, 星期六仍然是我和auntie Irene相依为命, Nicole 去台湾旅游一周还未归来, L-5 和小凤也有个人任务在身, 无暇到来. 
Auntie Irene 在我还未到来之前已经把她的朋友提供的parfait 做好, 一来到就有机会品尝到. Parfait 是由鲜奶油,蛋和糖做成的冰冻甜品. 它就像我们常吃的ice-cream, 只不过口感会比较creamy 些. Auntie Irene 做了白巧克力加咖啡口味paifait, 味道香浓可口! yummy!!
Auntie Irene 告诉我她星期五一次过做了三份的Shepherd Pie 分别送给二儿子的神父和朋友, 还有她的妹妹. 还剩下一些薯泥, 问我要不要也做一份来享用. 上次尝过她制做的美味shepherd pie 还意忧未尽, 当然说好. 谢谢auntie Irene 预先帮忙买好其余的食材, 让我有机会亲自料理这一道让人吃了嘴颊留香的西式菜肴让家人享用. 我们俩也先尝为快, 各切一块当星期六的晚餐...
星期天, 为Stollen 疯狂的auntie Irene又萌起做Christmas Stollen 的念头, 这次要采纳朋友Becky的建议,做一些夹入bacon & cheese 的stollen. Bacon 的香味果然不出所料, 比ham和almond paste更胜一筹, 重口味的auntie Irene尝了一口就被它'shock' 到了, 当下决定以后只做bacon stollen来吃, 不想要做almond paste stollen了, 哈哈哈! Ah Oink 之前尝过 Stollen 后, 也和我们一样对它的香软可口念念不忘...刚好打算星期天前来, 有机会同时分享到almond paste 和bacon & cheese stollens. 这次的stollen 很抢手, Becky和一位前来取糕点的网友同时预订了.
刚在一个星期前与全家人从香港度假回来的Oink Oink, 在尝到香港道地好吃的菠箩包后, 也为之疯狂, 看到我的部落格后, 得知我们最近也在热菠箩包,雀跃万分,也嚷嚷跃跃欲试, 要学做来吃... 嘻嘻嘻~ auntie Irene 说这次让她如愿以偿, 同时可以吃到Stollen & Polo Bun, 应该很满足咯! 哈哈哈~ 在此谢谢ah Oink 分享香港买回来的老婆饼等手信, 还有她老公Eric为我们打包的KFC炸鸡晚餐!
菠箩包的面包实在太棉软太好吃了, 制作时间比Stollen 相应短很多, 我们趁还有点时间又多做一份,不过这次只在半份盖上菠箩皮, 其余的只做包身不加盖... 这四粒是加了豆沙和咖啡莲蓉馅的小面包.
在空心小面包里夹上培根和芝士的面包也超好吃! 尤其喜欢这优质面包光滑表面和松软轻盈包身, 切开来接触到细腻软棉的面包组织, 真的让人爱不释手噢!谢谢auntie Irene 的细心教导和分享! 学习到我梦寐以求的面包!

我看我和Aunt Irene一样的迷上了做这stollen了。上周末我也是还是再做ham & cheese stollen。他的口味的确和Almond paste不一样。不过我本身还是喜欢Almond paste的口味。
空心小面包非常漂亮哟！我本来也是要做空心小面包给我先生尝试的，不过上周末我做了kueh lapis要送我弟弟，又做stollen，还要准备午，晚餐，真的时间不够用，就和我先生说下次再做吧！

我们也是喜欢菠箩包的包身口感, 所以想做些空心小面包，来夹上培根和芝士，一试果然不出所料, 超好吃的！
是啊, bacon stollen 咸香美味, Auntie Irene 觉得比火腿肉更香,为之疯狂，我们都很喜欢, 下次你要试做来吃哦。记得先把bacon 烤到七分熟才夹入stollen哦...

我看无人不喜欢stollen哦, 大家都被它香浓的果香味和超软的面包迷住了, 欲罢不能,虽然制作时间很长,还是一做再做。原来你喜欢吃Almond paste的口味, 我也喜欢,只要不是太甜的…我只能说每个人的口味都不一样, 不论ham & cheese stollen, Almond paste stollen, bacon stollen或没有夹馅料的stollen都各有仰慕者…都好吃! 下次你不妨一试bacon的, 说不定你会喜欢呢!

haha...we enjoy baking these two types of bread and we share the joy particularly with people who appreciate the food...
the polo buns are really nice, we have it for breadfast for many days but also didn't get tired of it, think it should be the same for you ya...heeheehee...look forward to seeing you making the polo bun...
