又是一个飘香弥漫的周末。。。
不只是Joanne, Nicole, Mabel 和我也对芋角趋之若鹜，尤其是Nicole, 早在Dorene 打电话向auntie Irene 请教蜂巢芋角的制作，她就心思思了，马上要求auntie Irene 也教她做，因为这可是她最爱的美食之一，怎能错过呢？嘻嘻~

做了两天的芋角，我们终于领教到要做好看又好吃的蜂巢芋角真的很不容易，除了要选对新鲜起粉且鬆的香芋外，火候的温度要掌握好，火猛就会快上色不会起蜂巢，火慢角身会松散。。。总而言之，炸制的功夫非常讲究咯。。。auntie Irene 说连续做了四次，她不打算再做咯...
你在拍我吗？靠近一点，不怕你来个近距照。。。嘻嘻。。。做成的蜂巢芋角，皮色金黄，表层小眼密布，尤如蜂巢，外皮酥脆，内层软滑，馅有微汁，鲜美香浓，好赞啊！ 看到有蜂巢呈现，我和Nicole 不禁经松了一口气！哈哈哈~
星期天我们这几位从未制作粽子的初学者，看了师傅的几轮示范后，大家就跃跃欲试，好不容易，粗手笨拙的把碱水敛容粽包裹起来，结果呢？。。。有些绑松了，当然是惨不忍睹咯，这里亮相的成品当然是出自师傅熟练的巧手啦。。。我们三个人包裹的全都让Mabel 拿回家煮，希望它们都相安无事。。。嘻嘻~ 
这个透明剔透的Kee Dumpling，颜色菱角很漂亮，一掀开来，哇！香味扑鼻呢！
包了莲蓉馅的碱水粽，非常甜滋美味，甜而不腻，好吃！ 
照片所见是星期天和星期六的双版算盘子 - 用鱿鱼丝，虾米蒜葱茸了加上多种配料炒的算盘子实在是太美味了，让人念念不忘，看到剩下蛮多不适合做蜂巢芋角的芋头，虽然準備工序繁多，我和Nicole还是意犹未尽，快手快脚准备配料，捏起算盘子！想到又可以吃到香喷喷的算盘子，再辛苦也是值得的，对吗Nicole? 哈哈~ 还是师傅的調味功夫了得，炒出香味四溢的算盘子。 972 听众有口福咯，auntie Irene 会安排呈现在5月6日的厨房笔记！
这是auntie Irene 精心烹煮的一道美味佳肴。 除了Mabel 因为要陪家人提早走外，auntie Irene, 我，Nicole, 加上后来上来帮忙修复电脑的L-5, 四个人大快朵颐的把整盘焖得非常入味的三层肉，冬菇，莲藕，黑木耳等全解决掉。。。南乳的辛香加上其它的调味，吃了让人齿颊留香，回味无穷！想学这道菜肴，就要锁定5月9日的972的厨房笔记咯！包你吃得过瘾！
星期六我要求学做香蕉蛋糕，为的是要让三姐瞧瞧正确香蕉蛋糕的模样，因为前些日子她做了一个很难吃的香蕉蛋糕。 谢谢auntie Irene 的教导，家人对蛋糕赞不绝口，大家都超爱吃，第三天就只剩下两片了。
星期天吃到胀鼓鼓的回家，姐姐还留了一碗自制的黑芝麻糊让我品尝，结果我又尝到了热腾腾的芝麻香。。。
（所谓飘香，因为有芋头香，香蕉香，粽子香，算盘子香，腐乳肉香，差一点忘了还有Eileen 的全麦面包香和生日蛋糕咖啡香，嘻嘻。。。再加上家里的芝麻香，真是不得了！）

yeah, I find that the banana cake is not as easy as I thought, that's why I wanted to bake one to show my sis...hahaha... auntie Irene was expecting u though I told her u weren't sure as u were still coughing then and didn't want to spread the virus to her... hahaha..so when it past 3 (your usual timing) we knew you weren't coming. went to your blog very late on Monday and saw that you've reinforced your dumpling with another round of string, brilliant! I was kind of worried that you didn't do that and all the dumpling burst open while cooking...then left with nothing to eat...hahaha...
