周六下午来到auntie Irene 家,喔!屋里闹哄哄的!原来Auntie Irene, Nicole, Eileen, Mabel 和 Michelle Chear 正在用富有圣诞气息的饼模来制作造型姜饼,大家做得好不起劲。。。虽然距离圣诞节还有一个半多月,想不到大家已兴致勃勃地开始学习新的圣诞糕点咯。。。也提醒大家圣诞节快到咯!
瞧! 这些可爱模型姜饼就是他们的杰作了,由心细手巧的Michelle 负责piping, 她好有耐心噢,慢慢的绘出漂亮生动的图案,我们非常赞赏她赏心悦目的创作哟!这些姜饼非常香脆可口,在烘烤的当儿,一阵一阵的姜香味从烤箱传出来,令人陶醉! 慢慢嘴嚼姜饼,的确嘴颊留香,回味无穷呀!
彩虹泡泡满天满地,满天满地吹向姜饼屋。。。好喜欢这个漂亮姜饼屋呀,白皑皑的雪覆盖在屋顶和溶化在屋檐上,配合着逗趣的圣诞老人和其它装饰,构成一幅好有气氛雪景和意境啊! 谢谢auntie Irene帮忙美化照片!
卖相极佳的饭桃,把我带回童年的时光。。。记得小时候住在大芭窑组屋时,住在楼下的一位年迈的老婆婆常常开着后门在厨房埋头制作这些让人香味扑鼻的peach-shaped dumplings,那时没有什么零用钱,所以只买过几次:(。。。要谢谢Nicole 把糯米饭馅料炒得那么美味可口,我们制作的面皮也很好吃。。。谢谢auntie Irene 的分享和教导!它不但成为我们星期六的晚餐,也成为我和家人星期天的早餐呢!
这个猪脚黑醋不只是auntie Irene 和 Nicole 的最爱,我和Michelle 也对它爱不释手!我们几位还很钟意吃富有胶质的皮呢!据说吃了皮肤会美美噢! 炖煮了很久的猪肉,轻轻一嚼就化开了,汤汁更不用说了,非常香浓美味,让人禁不住一汤匙一汤匙一口接一口的喝起来了。。。
也是焖煮了许久的扣肉,脂肪肥而不腻,一触即化!肉质非常细嫩芳香 ,吃了满口留香!

星期天来到auntie Irene 面包布丁已在烤箱烘焙中。。。趁热吃口感极佳,吃到上层有烤到微焦香脆的奶香面包和甜酸美味的cranberry, 下层有非常幼滑的蛋奶布丁,口感丰富,超美味可口的,让人吃了欲罢不能!
又一道用金瓜做食材的糕点来咯!到来auntie Irene 家时,金瓜布丁已烘好,却被冷落在一旁上不了镜头,原来auntie Irene 之前趁热小试了这个布丁,对它诸多不满,认为它达不到她要的口感和味道,怎知后来冷却后再试吃,A....还不赖嘛!于是替它拍了照后,忍不住吃了再吃,嘻嘻~
我们三个人的晚餐还包括了之前制作给Turbo的食谱之一麦片虾! 麦片最后才加入略炒,把奶油麦片和鲜虾的香味发挥得淋漓尽致!让人食指大动,笑哈哈! 这个auntie Irene 所谓的‘随便炒’的蔬菜炒鲜虾香菇可是非常美味的哦,有抗氧和抗癌的红绿橙灯笼椒和幼嫩的四季豆。。。auntie Irene 用Turbo stove 炒得镬气十足,青脆爽口!好吃!

yeah, I just returned home from co. retreat in Bangkok few hours ago around 1am. After unpacking my luggage, washed up some clothes and took a shower, still pretty awake, so thought of surfing the net to confirm my flight for tomorrow evening departure, and also have a bit of time to reply to some of your comments on my blog.
Thanks for your well wishes, I have enjoyed the 1st part of my holiday in Bangkok, all the shopping and feasting of my favourite Thai food, albeit tired was satisfying. Now looking forward to the 2nd part of chilling holiday in Los Angeles. Will cathc up with u gals in 2 weeks time...however, if I have time and access to the internet, may connect with u all through the cyberspace...

hee hee..last Sat. I left for Bangkok for my 1st part 3D2N office retreat cum holiday in Bangkok. In less than 24 hours (tomorrow early evening) I will be on the plane again to LA...
