昨天Joanne, Oink Oink 和我又在auntie Irene 的家学做了多样美食：
Auntie Irene 特地料理了味道一级棒的炸酱面让我们大块朵颐。肉酱配上了清脆可口的红萝卜丝，黄瓜丝和辣椒丝，还有其它佐料一起吃，非常好吃，炸肉酱的味道刺激着你的味觉，让人食欲大开 。
这是泰国著名的甜品Tako. 我们用了比一般玉蜀黍还香甜的金马伦黄白玉蜀黍来取代马蹄water chestnut，加上绿豆粉和椰浆来做这道顺滑的冷甜品，又有椰香和pandan叶香，非常美味可口，赞！
还做了Oink Oink 喜欢吃的甜甜圈和 donut balls，漂亮吗？
看到Mabel 和Eileen 已经在星期六向auntie Irene 学做了两个美呆了的圣诞树桐蛋糕，我们也重点出击，延续做Christmas Log Cake。我觉得制作和装饰圣诞树桐蛋糕宛如在雕朔一个艺术品，加上小巧可爱的圣诞装饰品的点缀，就能把整个蛋糕衬托得美轮美奂，让人看了舍不得把它切来吃。
真不得不佩服才华洋溢，富有艺术细胞的auntie Irene 的功力和创作才能，把树桐雕朔得栩栩如生，赏心悦目！谢谢auntie Irene 师傅的细心教导和示范这看似简单，做起来却蛮有挑战性的蛋糕。

样样食品都那么美味可口，要从那一样先下手呢？但我肯定树桐蛋糕会是最后，应为她实在是是太美了！不舍得吃勒！

>yeah, Mary, indeed u are right, the Christmas Log Cake is so beautifully crafted & decorated, it definitely has to be the last one to be consumed, because we can't help but keep admiring at it over & over again, and when we decide to dig in, it has to be savour very slowly with much appreciation in order to justify its beauty and taste. U really ought to learn to make this log cake for your family, they will love it.

The creation of the X'mas log cake is simply awesome & magical! particulary if u actually witness its transformation from an ordinary cream-coated sponge cake into an artpiece. Auntie Irene is really marvellous, an expertise, she simply crafted & adorned the cake with much ease & casual flair.
Yes, we have enjoyed the process immersely and felt very excited & pleased with the end product.I believe it must be the same feeling with u, Eileen & Nicole.

haha~~ I don't blame u for not being able to chose which one to start first, because they were really very delicious.
The cream of the log cake is made with chocolate & cocoa , unlike those selling commercially, mainly using colours, flavours & lots of sugar.

是咯，我也想再做圣诞树桐蛋糕。那天我把拍到的照片给弟弟看，好好笑啊，完全不会和不曾烘焙的他，看到漂亮的log cake之后也忍不住说他也想学哇！哈哈~ 如果他做，新加坡可要下雪了，哈哈~ 我看既然他那么喜欢，还是做一个给他吧。不过我不急，可以等，先让两位师姐先实习，安排到时间我才做。

要送给妈妈的树桐蛋糕应该由自己的手做出来才能表现出你对妈妈的孝心与爱心，也许做出来的没那么好但我相信你的妈妈一定会很开心，因为这是自己女儿亲手做的，吃的时候也特别的香甜。Ah Oink，今天就自己学做一个吧！听话噢！:)

I can only think that may be your hubby wants to 'how lian' in front of his friend that his wife is capable of making quality X'mas cake, & this friend of his must be someone very special & close to him. I don't disagree with u that we should give priority to our family & relatives or someone close at heart. Nevermind lah, after u master making this cake, it may not be a task to u anymore, if u have the time, why not take it as a chance to pracitise 又可以让你的老公以你为荣，何乐而不为呢! 哈哈~ U are so smart再学多一次，我相信你可以做出来，at least 你家有与auntie Irene 相等的heavy duty mixer & oven, 我家的小型oven measuring 24x27cm, temperature有时又难以捉摸,让我对它没有信心，每次做糕点都战战兢兢的。。。除了要给allowance for人为的疏忽，还要兼顾oven的失误。。唉。。。
