周末新煮意

上个周末因为出国度假,错过了auntie Irene 用金瓜烹调的多样美食,这个周末,我也不落人后,赶紧去恶补学习制作金瓜咖椰。虽然这次没有时间学做那个让大家津津乐道的蒸金瓜糕,但也见识和尝到了另一个用金瓜烹调的菜肴 金瓜咖哩排骨,也不错啊!嘻嘻~ 金瓜是个富有营养和高纤维和维他命的健康果菜,它一直是我们家喜欢买来做汤的食材。这次auntie Irene 采用天然甘甜的金瓜料理出多种不同的菜肴和甜点,让人有意想不到的惊喜,简直是太棒,太妙不可言了!

其实几天前,auntie Irene 做了非常香滑可口的金瓜咖椰让我拿回家享用,谢谢auntie Irene! 和许多人一样,家人也没尝过用金瓜做的咖椰,对金瓜和椰子呈现的另一种金瓜椰奶浓郁甘香风味,赞不绝口!难怪auntie Irene说如果不学做这个美味的pumpkin kaya, 可是我的损失咯。

Auntie Irene 也教我和Nicole KFC和西餐厅有售卖的马铃薯泥淋酱。我一向来都非常钟意吃mashed potatoes 多过于煎炸油腻的薯条。我喜欢加了牛油的薯泥散发的诱人奶香味,吃多了也不觉得腻,常把它舔到干干净净的,yummy yummy good。好耶!这次学会了,改次想吃就可以随时做来吃。


再来呢,我们又用金瓜咖哩排骨。亲睹auntie Irene 用真材实料一一搅成的咖哩香料,尤其芳香浓郁,一尝之后让人停不了口的把酱汁往口里送,因为实在太好吃了!之后来的L-5一个人几乎把一整盘给吃完,还意犹未尽,索性把剩余的打包回家继续享用呢!


金瓜取代马铃薯烹煮curry不外是个明智的做法,因为金瓜不但易熟,入口即化,还非常甜美可口呢!

Auntie Irene 还介绍我们这一道槟城菜肴。她多年前去槟城朋友家拜年,初次尝到了这道美味无比的菜肴,就当场请教友人。据说这道菜是槟城人每逢佳节和新年必烹煮的菜肴 (原因不详, 有谁能指点迷津?) 用鱿鱼丝炒香淡然无味的沙葛,煞是鲜甜美味,与虾米有过之而无不及的味道!在翻炒时,香味飘香满屋,连到访的Mary 也趋之若鹜,想快点炒这道佳肴与家人享用。

最后,我们也尝试用梅子酱炒了百吃不腻又补血的姜葱炒猪肝


吃饱晚餐后,我和Nicole 分别制作两份Durian Chiffon Cakes。我auntie Irene 家的中,看到有榴莲售卖,蠢蠢欲动的想买一些做auntie Irene 曾提起的榴莲戚风蛋糕这蛋糕是我用auntie Irene Turbo 23L oven 烘焙的,蛋糕发得好高噢,烘焙时,榴莲飘香满屋,让喜爱吃榴莲的我和Nicole 垂涎欲滴。。。 后续: 蛋糕质感非常松软,有弹性和微湿,我觉得相当满意,家人和同事对蛋糕的口感也赞不绝口!好开心哦!


前一天星期六,Eileen Sharon因为受不了金瓜面包的诱惑,不约而同的来向auntie Irene 学习制作造型金瓜面包。她们连同Mabel 也各做了一份pumpkin kaya拿回家。 Auntie Irene 也应Mabel 的要求,特地教她做晶莹剔透的水晶虾饺,我, Nicole DS也凑热闹,从旁学习并帮忙捏了一些。Auntie Irene 的水晶虾饺,真的鲜甜好吃,口感绝佳。


多亏有auntie Irene 的细心教导和分享,让我们有机会尝试不一样‘煮'意的美食,获益不浅。。。感谢您auntie Irene

hahaha...the durian chiffon cake was actually my impromtu request lah ...it's really springy, soft and nice, u can try doing it too... I brought some to share with some of my colleagues who love durian too.

wish u good luck in selecting the right maid...

很心急在星期五晚上已制做了金瓜kaya。就是因为分给我姑姑,自已不够,昨天又再次制做,真是椰奶浓郁香味。赞! 今天我也拿一小杯给我同事尝试,她品尝后,都赞不绝口!

金瓜kaya的确香滑美味。开始煮的时候看似很多,可是煮至浓稠后,水蒸发后,就便少了。下次要煮多一点咯,嘻嘻~

ya, I took almost half of it to share with my colleagues. They praised that my durian chiffon cake very soft and nice, they like the chiffon texture.

Dinner after 11pm?? should be supper lor. Good thing u don't have concern for weight like most of us.

赞不绝口的,因为它真的很幼滑和美味. 我相信不喜欢吃金瓜的人也会接受它的。
