This is the first chocolate cake that I've done the icing all by myself, it's not easy to get it nicely coated。Only Auntie Irene can do it in a breeze 她不用吹灰之力就可以很快的搞定它. 不好意思，我知道装饰得很丑no standard，不要骂我哦，下次我会做得更好的! I still need a lot of practices la... I'm quite pleased with the dark chocolate, it tastes very nice and yummy - i don't like it to be too creamy so have slightly reduced the fresh cream. Do u like to have a slice of cake to go with your cup of coffee or tea?

thank you for the compliments & encouragement, sure will let u have a piece. 你们太夸奖我了 this round i consider passable only, I know myself, I need a lot more practices, it's still a long way to Shifu's expectation, hahaha.
Yes, I do enjoyed the NDP preview albeit from afar - 51 storey of Swisstel The Stamford hotel. The view from there is magnificent & breathtaking. The only set back was yesterday the weather was quite hazy & cloudy. How about u? I believe u all should enjoy more intensely than us, being so close upfront, the atmosphere must be excellent. I will be posting some of the photos on the blog shortly. Stay tuned...hahaha

我知道啦，严师出高徒嘛，有骂才会有进步的。只可惜好师傅有我这个苯笨的，鸡手鸭脚和不听话的学生，有时倒真的是伤脑筋呀！哈哈！
我也比较注重内涵过于外表的，可是有时有外表没内涵也不行的。那晚我在家里尝试做蒸杂果蛋糕，因为犯了几个错误，结果做到一榻糊涂，外表美美的，里面却半熟好难吃，名副其实的有外表没内涵，真是失败，呜呜..也让师傅失望了。。唉..
无论如何，我们是要对自己有所要求尽量做到色香美味俱全才算好，虽然很多时候是心有余而力不足。还是要继续学习和加油再加油！

对你来说可能要求太高才会觉得丑，但是，对我们这些门外汉来说，已经是好得不得了，有机会我不介意尝一块，哈哈！
